don't know why so many people didn't like this one, i had fun! even when i was new to crosswords and couldn't crack any puzzle with a rebus, i would cheat and look at the theme and go "huh, cute" and it would motivate me to do more crosswords so i could solve rebuses

had enough crossings to get IM DOWN FOR WHATEVER immediately, but didn't realise it could also be IM UP FOR WHATEVER! i empathise with people who think rebuses can be a slog, but when done well (like this puzzle) they're really fun!

I was definitely on the constructor's wavelength today and set a PB of 6:14! Refreshing after a tough week. This was less than half the time of this week's Wednesday, and a quarter of the time Thursday's time. I saw Charli XCX in concert earlier this year, she was amazing!

Personal best of 7:05 down from 7:28!

Couldn't get the revealer even with like half of the letters, going "wellcome doesn't fit..." I think I need to go to bed

delightful puzzle! 20 second pb, 5:40! would have been a minute faster but I had ESt/AD StEAK... alas
