32A: Turkey Part I already had the ANK___ and wrote in ANKLES. Hmmmm, I thought, "Do turkeys have ankles?"
Puzzle of the Year, for sure.
26D got a chuckle out of me. Brilliant misdirect. And turns out it's the title of the wordplay column!
Got a kick out of 13D. Great misdirect, Margi!
@john ezra. Thank you for the info. That's fascinating!
Well done, Mr. Livengood! And I went to the September 15, 2016 puzzle of yours that was mentioned and I was astounded. It is in a class by itself. Brilliant!

@Ethan Welcome, Ethan!!
@HeathieJ "egg talk" Haha, I like that!
@Amy Oh my . . . so sorry
@Lewis Bravo, Lewis!!
@sotto voce Thank you for the clip! Awesome
@UE That's an uncanny coincidence!
@Sam Corbin And thank you for the definition of "skint." It lead me to one of my favorite words: impecunious!
@Joe Yes, that is a great MadMen scene! Thanks for posting it.
