Back when PDAs were a thing, was Android a thing? Or am I not getting the context?
Sometimes when a line is down for repairs, it is a deviated septa.
Chelsea Peretti crossed with Taio Cruz … do we agree this is a bona fide NATICK or am I just old?
Could the operative letters simply have been bolded versus underlined?
Thought I had navigated this one perfectly, but had an accident at the KEWPIE - DWI intersection.
Had to run through 24 letters of the alphabet to get the X in ICEBOXCAKE, because I don’t know much about cakes and was insistent that a wolverine had to be an OMEN.
TIL there is such a thing as an em dash and an en dash.
Finished it and enjoyed it just fine but thought the theme was simply circled random letters leading up to the church. Then came here and had my aha moment! Well done.
@Katie Good point; now I am embarrassed as my last name ends in etti.
Love with the puzzle, very clever. But I didn’t get the music even after reviewing every fill. Had to resort to the check feature and had THIRTY-SEVEN errors! (Yes I used the rebus feature to put the first three letters in each down response.)
@Anita .. Could it be THUR for “a day?” I guess we need a fortunate android user to confirm.
@Jessica P .. Maybe because all you had to do was ignore them? I never touched the Rebus button.
Sadly because I used “Check puzzle” to find an error in the grid, once I corrected the error it automatically did the spinning for me and revealed the hidden message. I might clear the puzzle and “solve” it again so I can do the spinning!
