Been in the military almost 20 years, never called an LT a Looie - perhaps its an Army thing? Not the easiest Monday, but a finished onek, nonetheless.

This was a stretch. I got the theme because of the "om" but didn't put together chance > chants which like I said is quite the stretch. Also who calls old pros adepts? I get its a Thursday but this whole week of puzzles has been out there. I got about 75% of the way through before I looked up the answers. Better luck next thyme.

Much easier than yesterdays and I didn't even "get" the reveal until I was near the end of the puzzle.

I didn't realize at first that Forties (Four T's) was referring to the start of each word in the clues. I'm over here thinking "To Tell The Truth" that has 5 T's...
