Nobler In The Mind

This is a fine Tuesday puzzle. A nit-pick though; crossing FLY with FLYING? Isn’t it sort-of frowned upon to use the same word twice in a puzzle, even if it’s a variation? I only worry what they might say across-the-pond ;-)

Can we get a shoutout for the midi? I knew something was up with it but didn’t get it til I read the title. Nice!

Enjoyed the puzzle, but breezed through it and I’m not that good at crosswords yet (getting better). I liked the theme, and some of the wordplay made me smile. One nit: AISlop for me is not really “low-quality”, or it doesn’t quite capture the nefarious nature of it. It’s more over-produced, too busy, and has a certain quality that I hope we all are beginning to recognize. In fact, part of the problem is that it doesn’t look “low-quality” so people use it instead of an actual artist who knows what they’re doing and can actually lift the concepts the art is meant to convey.
