Really hard, and meh. Nothing too clever, and a couple of these were quite a stretch. The 4 full length answers were gratifying. The rest was a slog. Hard is good, but only when it’s clever. This puzzle made me feel the same way the show Frasier did when I was 12

Great puzzle, bit easy for Friday though. Only challenge was understanding SYN. Never would have gotten that without the crossers. Three layered clues, huh
