My shoulders were sore from patting myself on the back of late. Until yesterday. It was like I had never done a crossword. Today a redemptive solve, a birdee to yesterdays snowman.
Yes! Love the theme…after it was explained. I enjoy the days where I am clever enough to solve but not clever enough to understand why.
Figured the theme out quickly but that was the only quick thing about it. Great cluing throughout, this one was bound to stretch the value of my subscription dollar. Btw, NYT games subscription ROI for entertainment value is unmatched.
Rare ego boost. Whenever I breeze through one, everyone else and their 10 year old son does too. A couple people had some issues…I will take that as progress .
One of those that I thought I wasnt going to be able to work through but i got the golden jingle inexplicably. Held on to “old fords” for “galaxies” way too long..
@Tim It’s got to be exhausting..
Fridays often leave me “Wondering Aloud” , but 34 across was a treat for us fans of Mr. Anderson and company, and agronomy in general. After I got started, there was “No way to slow down!”
Yeah, no..finally had to concede a decent streak. Day 1 starts tomorrow.
