I could have done without the 16D clue "Counteroart of sub." Can we call a truce on shoving weird proclivities down everyone's throats AT LEAST on the crossword puzzle? Is nothing sacred? Sorry, it's lazy. Do better.

Absolutely not a fan. Hated the puzzle. Just what is it trying to accomplish?? I come here for intellectual stimulation, not haphazard nonsense. Please refrain in the future.

@Caro It's not all consenting adults doing crosswords. Sometimes an actual child is working on one. You get the same results with "Educator's stand-in" or "Beginning of tropical or urban." No need to resort to a clue that isn't dinner table conversation.
