Liked the spanner "An Heir and A Spare" which I got when I saw the clue. Got tripped up elsewhere but a very fine puzzle.

Great puzzle. Nice debut, Mr. Locke! Loved the "hue and cry" theme. Fun Monday. Tight fill. Hope to see more Locke puzzles.

Struggled like others but in the end did get the revealer and the last of my fill before coming to Wordplay. I knew which foursome was referred to when the answer was McCartney but for the life of me couldn't figure out why he was an "Assist" until I figured out the revealer! Genius of a puzzle. Thank you, Mr. Kwong! NYT game dep't keep these tough/fun Thursday puzzles coming!

Tough I thought for a Wednesday but I made it! Took awhile to see how 45D made sense!

I definitely feel for all the app solvers. I have All Digital Access but prefer to solve with paper and pencil. I must be a member of a small group. Enjoyed the puzzle. Found it a little easier than the average Thursday.

I skipped over the IOS/Android instructions! I still do it pen/paper and the Ts were right where they were supposed to be! Fun puzzle. Thank you, Mr. Koppy!

Great puzzle! Thank you Alice Liang and Christina Iverson! I particularly liked the side-by-side downs at 11, 12, 13 and 32, 33, 34. Appreciate that those fills must be tough to create. So fun when that sort of construction is in a puzzle!
