Hey UK friends is it LOO or LAV?

I realize the crossword has a built-in difficulty sequence throughout the week, but after seeing NYT rank the difficulty on Connections I’d be curious to see something similar for crosswords. Maybe I was off today, but felt like a trickier Tuesday. A 4/5 difficulty, if you will!

I’ll just say every time I go to look at hints, 9/10 times they’re the clues I have answers to. Meanwhile, I’m over here trying to think of a game with a 32 card deck only to find it’s something I’ve never heard of in my life

A real Tuesday of a Monday with this theme

I was going to say this was a tough Monday, but once I realized the theme I realize it’s a very impressive Monday!

A Monday that felt closer to a Tuesday is always welcome

Felt more like a Wednesday than a Tuesday with a Thursday twist in the theme. More than I wanted but fun none the less

I truly love a puzzle where I finish it without understanding the theme at all.

Why are the tricky clues always the ones I get, meanwhile I have no idea who Bacchus is and why they’re celebrated. Fun Thursday!

For all the people complaining about easy puzzles the Tuesday 1/6 puzzle was the hardest Tuesday ever. This was the most Tuesday, Tuesday ever. Some slight misdirection with vocabulary expansion.

We needed an easier hard day of the week after last weeks gauntlet to end the week. Knicks in 5!

I always truly enjoy a Thursday where I can complete the puzzle and then read the column to understand the theme
