Fun puzzle! My funny mistake was getting THC instead of TSP for “shortening for bakers.” Throwback from my old pothead days!
Quick solve for a Saturday puzzle. Was stuck on 1A (of all things) which I kept seeing as a noun or verb instead of an adjective.
Got the “grade inflation” bit, solved almost all of it, but YOINK was the holdout. What a freakin’ ugly word, lol!! Fun puzzle!
I thought the CONFIRMATION BIAS not only meant that words like YES, etc, were used, and at an angle, but being put in as a rebus, you got the word twice, hence “confirmed.” Way overthought.
