Would have expected the NY Times to have caught the very annoying mistake of confounding a language (Hindi) with a religion (Hindu). To put it in context, Hindi is the mother tongue of 18% of Indians. Around 70% of Indians are Hindus. It’s like Taylor mentioned in his comment, “It’s like describing Christmas as a Spanish celebration.”
@Mark Carlson I didn’t mean to be overly pedantic. While I appreciate that a few concessions need to be made for an otherwise witty construction, I’d have changed the clue then to a ‘Bollywood party’ or something on those lines.
