In the minority, I guess. I did not enjoy this at all, and not just because it was hard. The cluing was opaque, with misdirections that frequently verged on the implausible. No fun.
Hatred is too mild a word for how I felt about this piece of misery. The constructor seems to have decided that one degree of deception on a clue is not enough. And as I'm sure many have said 'uh-oh' is not one word. Shame!
@Steve L Exactly. Word play is one thing, but these clues are really stretching it. Since when is a Horde a 'mass'? I can respect fair word-lay, but this constructor took it two steps too far. Deeply unpleasant solve.
