Top half was mostly good for Wednesday. Bottom not so much. The sneakers and exercise clues are fairly obscure, so their intersection irked me a bit. (8:37)

"Paper view" was pretty nice. "Recipient of many dad jokes" should have included ", perhaps". As always, common phrases do not belong in a NYT puzzle, so shame on you there. Good puzzle overall, though, imho. Thanks.

It's hard to tell from this perspective, but I think this puzzle may have been a bit on the easy side. (7:06)
