@Claire I live on the Gulf of MEXICO. No one that lives around here is calling it anything else.
Not a great puzzle. Btw, “firehat” is NOT typically red, they are BLACK, at least if you’re talking about the headgear that firefighters wear. Red firehats are usually plastic and purchased for kids. “I DECLARE”? No, just no. If you don’t understand the usage, don’t use it. Do better NYT. Your games are all you’ve got.
