Caitlin, you refer in a couple of place to 122 across as revealer. It's 117 across (as in your first reference).

@Steve L I like the puzzle today. Both yesterday and today were good workouts. I didn't try BIRDSEYE in the NW but did start with INUIT. One would think they'd have freeze dried something! Plus I already had the I and the T would fit PST if I could figure out another use for th acronym.

@Randy Stern Was my best Saurday at 9:14. Nice puzzle, but honestly, felt like it was Wednesday.

I solved on an Android (Samsung A8). I did NOT have to touch the T squares. No blank rebus necessary. Glad I did not read the Note prior to solving. Honestly, though, there should be an indication on the main puzzle screen when there's a Note. 9 times out of 10 there is no reason to hit the "i" button before finishing solving (a Sunday title sometimes being an exception). At first I kept thinking the Ts were some sort of joiner for down and across letters, so it took me a while to get the theme.

Without intending any offense, is this puzzle any different than if the clues had been written in Russian with Cyriilc letters? In either case the clues mean little to someone who doesn't know the language, requiring a number of crosses to suss out the answer. The crossword is already a genre that fairly transcends the hearing and nonhearing world.

@Eli Edwards I solve on a tablet, but there should be a button labeled REBUS on screen that will let you enter multiple letters in one square. aAlso, you don't need the /. NVUT works
