Easiest Saturday ever, at least for me. Was my fastest solve of the week, yes faster than Monday.
That was a tough one, NW and SE corner took me over an hour.

29A gave away the Thursday madness rather quickly for me. Great to see my hometown the 'Cuse (QQ) represented,,,,GO ORANGE! still miffed why we chose a 'nothing to do with CNY' mascot in 1978 over the Saltine Warrior. Perhaps inspired by all the FLA snowbirds?

One way to get the puzzle in the puzzle madness quicker in my experience is to go through all the clues first, look for the revealer clue, work on solving it first, this case 69 Down.
