Very hard for a Monday, so a bit disappointed. Monday’s are for cruising, not being flummoxed. Some of the clues like “some gofers”,really?

This was really fun. Once the theme clicked the entire puzzle became clear. I’m by no means a crossword aficionado, but I enjoyed myself immensely, which isn’t always my experience with these puzzles. Well done!

Foregone doesn’t mean renounced,so how was anyone supposed to get this? Forgo maybe, but I’ve never heard anyone say, “he foregone his diet of sweet pastries” forgoes would be the proper answer “he forgoes his consumption of donuts in favor of plain oatmeal.” And CAVIL, SAPOR are just crazy. Suffice it to say this was not my favorite puzzle

“Are so?”just doesn’t feel right, in my corner of the world it’s always been “am not,” or “are to”

Feels like this was meant for yesterday, possibly. Very easy for Tuesday. Had fun though.
