This puzzle was BRILLIANT! And FUN FUN FUN! I absolutely loved it. I also loved the constructor notes and the transformation from black and white puzzle to colorful pizza puzzle. Absolutely brilliant!
TOAT? TOAT? Oh! To a T! Filled it in but didn't actually get it for a while afterward. Sheesh!

That was clever and SO FUN!!!!! Great hump day puzzle!
SO creative! SO fun! I don't know how they managed this one but I was really impressed by all the circuitous craftings. BRAVO!
@Gabe Reed It's 7A, not 7D, and the Wordplay column is correct.
@Ioana It is rarely used by the general public; however, among personnel on a naval vessel it is the standard term for a toilet.
@Jennifer. EXACTLY! That EUREKA moment and the ensuing wonder and delight as everything fell in to place and made perfect sense - I think this is the most puzzling puzzle I have ever thoroughly enjoyed!
@Darren Yes - recto was new for me, and now I know verso as well. It was a fun AND educational puzzle!
@Grant I knew this only because my tour guide told me about the GE pink pineapples - and their higher market prices, of course! - I saw growing in Costa Rica.
