The format change in today's puzzle was an unwelcome surprise. I do the crossword on a laptop where a keyboard on the screen is absolutely useless (I understand that it's useful for other devices, but surely there could be an option for something like tablet mode?). I suppose I could get used to having clues on both sides of the grid, but it takes time away from solving when I have to change my view from one side to the other while solving rather than moving slightly up and down on the same side of the grid. I hope this was a glitch, but if this was a deliberate re-design, please go back to the drawing board.
