I found ballast and continuity solving crosswords during an intensely challenging thirteen month period of my life, as well as an element of much needed escapism. And though it began as somewhat obsessive distraction, finding my way to your column made it a joy as well. I felt personally ushered by you into the community, I was buoyed by your representation, I nearly spit out my tea laughing too many times to count. Which was a true gift all in itself. So thank you, Deb, more than you can know. You will be very much missed, but wishing you all things bright as you step onto a new path.

Nice! At first I was bummed I had to consult the column on a Tuesday. Then I was stoked— undiscovered genius and Babs omg loved it.

Ha I used to like Sunday puzzles and generally avoid Thursdays, but it’s been opposite land for me the last several weeks. To each their own!
