Just a note to the creator and future creators: for 1A, the name of the holiday in the clue actually does not contain the word “LOS,” which is an unnecessary addition mistakenly added in America
Not much to add but CEREBRO was a cool clue and I hope some of the older curmudgeons in the comments below realize it’s been around since the 60s
@Darren B it’s certainly not used anywhere in Mexico, and I audibly groaned when I realized my “mistake” was spelling a word correctly
“POSOLE?” Really? I expected better than a blatant misspelling from the NYT, it’s POZOLE
