@Nora If we're allowed to change the exponent on height arbitrarily, we could also call Area a ratio of width to height (with the exponent set to -1 on the latter, of course). Of course we'd be totally incorrect, we'd actually be describing an aspect ratio - not an area. I can tell you the ratio of my weight to height: 3 lbs/inch (50 kg/m). You cannot possibly give me my BMI except by guessing. That is because BMI is not determined by ratio of weight to height, nor is it synonymous.

@Mean Old Lady Because you're adding a "to", but that is already included in the clue. Grammatically, the answer should work in place of the clue. The clue would normally be phrased "listens (to)" in this case.
