I never got the theme but solved without hints. I wasn't familiar with the casino term so the theme was lost on me.

I had to walk away from this puzzle which is my go-to whenever I am stumped but was eventually able to earn my gold star when I returned. I also learned a few fun facts by completing it and for that I am grateful.

It was "moil" that threw me for a loop because I had already gotten "amazeballs" but thought the drudgery answer was "Toil." Finally just let it be "moil" and there's my gold star!

I completed the puzzle (and bested my average time!) BUT did not figure out the theme.
