Spoiler alert! Something strange happened to me when solving this puzzle. The rebus in the upper right was the last remaining square I needed to complete the puzzle. I thought it was "GUESS" at first, but obviously that didn't work. I actually was thinking "LOWES" and as soon as I typed the "L" NYT said I solved the puzzle. So I got credit for the solve, even though I didn't finish the rebus.

@Ken I'm a math guy, so I only played with LISP for fun. I never had to do any serious programming with it. I do love that Emacs has a LISP interpreter built in.
