@Jake Agreed. Absolutely awful. There are several ways to suck the fun out of the NYT crossword. This was one for sure.

Easy puzzle with about 7 minutes added trying to figure out what EXACTLY to enter into the REBUS. The answer key is BS. I wanted to love it and I got the theme right away, but it ultimately made me want to wrap myself in a grape leaf and hurl myself off a Spartan cliff.
