I thought it was fun! Maybe a bit way, I did beat my average for a Tuesday, but hey, if we can have extra hard days then it’s not a big deal to also have some slightly easier ones. I don’t think we need to demand like Goldilocks that our puzzle porridge be just right every single time. That’d get exhausting. I thought some of the clues were fresh and cute. I liked it, overall.

I see that many people thought this was too easy. Good for them. I had a lovely time. I did come in under my average, but not by too much, and I enjoyed myself. Clues like MOCHIDONUT and TORE had me chewing for a minute and I had fun. I haven’t been doing puzzles for years, and I’m still finding my wings with Friday puzzles in particular. For that reason, it felt nice to have a victory and still enjoy myself without needing to look at the Friday Easy clues.
