Loved this one, but the nerd in me wants to note that "May the Force/Fourth be with you" is a way of saying farewell more so than a greeting. - Ron
Didn't like this one. I feel like it was created to make me fail rather than to offer a do-able challenge. Glad some people did like it.
Great word play, and a challenge but not impossible.
Just adding my "vote" if it matters. Today's puzzle a good challenge. Hard in a fun way, that took skill of the creator. Yesterday's, only hard because it was made to be hard. Ron
If wishes were dishes, we'd all eat like kings.
I found the constructor's note funny today. Patoot was in my vocabulary. Something that others might call a kick in the pants was a kick in the patoot when/where I was growing up.
OK puzzle, but not exactly how a polygraph works (ie. not a "spike" to show a lie. )
Also challenging to clue a word in a language you may not speak. "resolucion" is arguably a cognate of "resolution" but many (most?) in the Spanish speaking world will use "proposito" for the New Year's resolution. (apologize as I don't know how to enter accented letters into the comments.)
@Murhatroid This term is often added (tagged) to a name to indicate it is the name one is born with (often the "maiden name" of a woman). Used a lot in crosswords for fill, I agree that this clue was a stretch.
@Stephen I figured kick was slang and track works without the back. Didn't get the lessdress until I got the theme.
@dutchiris As someone also from Massachusetts (Arnold ostensibly has a place to stay in Hyannis), the soft R does not sound like an accent to me. I had to check that answer, and the cross didn't help me.
