This is my favorite kind of Thursday puzzle! Challenging but the clues aren’t esoteric - it starts to come together and then once you understand the gambit, it gets more fun! If you don’t know about rebus solves, then this puzzle would be super annoying… BUT this is the perfect puzzle to gain mastery over them. And amazing structure and reveal, too! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I found this delightful! I didn’t need any help and I’m proud to say that I’ve been solving for 470 days straight. Perhaps it’s a combination of experience, repetition, and knowing what a Thursday puzzle is like, but I was really pleased to complete this so quickly. 🙏🏻

I always recommend people try Monday’s crossword when they want to start - but this would be a terrible one to begin on. The wordplay was nice- but this is not a Monday puzzle. April Fools I guess?

I loved this puzzle! This took me a while to sort out but once I did, it fell into place. NW corner was the last for me. Great construction!
