@Dave My experience was, the puzzle accepted as a blank and completed with the jingle, but the app shows the puzzle as only 98% complete. So you're right about the streak :-/ Definitely a bug, and I hope NYT will fix it and repair the broken streaks.

@Twangster Yeah, it is HORRIBLE UX and clearly was not properly vetted on various browsers/platforms. Weirdly (and thankfully), DuckDuckGo on Mac does not show the new highlight, but it is there on the other browsers I checked. If my team pushed code that bad to production, there would be heck to pay!
