Got it in the end, but the OXES corner had me annoyed for a long long time. Also, not sure that “please rise” is a thing. In every court I’ve been in, it’s not a please… the magisterial command “all rise” lets everyone know who’s who!

Super disliking the new histogram. Please put it back the way it was! I want to see my current, average, and best Wednesday all in one. I don’t need to know whether me Wednesday to Sunday time ratio is different from my average… I just don’t get why this change was made!

Well this ended my 92-game streak. Bad thing left a bad taste in my mouth - not a good clue. I’m cross about “hope” and “intend” being used as synonyms as well. They are very different concepts, nearly opposites in fact. Top left quad was frustrating, and not in a good way. Hmph.

“One man band” right next to “zero to hero”? In a puzzle with “pwned”? You, sir, are a baller.

Clever construction, thank you! (Pedant point - “gasoline” is a fuel, not a fuel source. “Source of energy” would have a more precise clue.)

Nearly broke a 50-day winning streak on a Monday! Trial and error up there in the northeast. Smew… well, love to learn a new word. And that sure is one cute duck.

Fun puzzle, and congrats on the “C” theme! I was briefly thrown by the clue to 20 across, which doesn’t fit the answer… “Characteristic of a penetrating mind” calls for a noun as an answer, but “keen” is an adjective. “Keenness” would be the fitting noun. “Penetrating, as a mind” would have been the proper formulation of the clue. Thanks for a great puzzle!

Great puzzle! Took me forever… worked it all out with “trademarks” instead of “trade names” until the very end. Finally sorted it out, but I was so sure of trademarks! Derailed me for a good 20 mins ;-)

@Lpr Ah. Yes. I see. I hereby retract my nitpicking! It’s not characteristic of my usually anyway. :)
