Fun one!

This may have been a more fun puzzle, if instead of having to fumble around replacing the letters “GO” and “STOP” directly with their corresponding traffic colors, we made use of colored rebuses. A green circle where “GO” would be, red where “STOP” would be. Probably would’ve been a fair bit easier, perhaps too much so. But this method was clunky. Had a bit of a sigh when I figured it out.

Not bad. Never have I seen the word MEWLS before.

I was stuck for a while thinking the whole “Angel” thing was a clunky rebus situation. Otherwise pretty fun

Fun theme and enjoyable clues! However I was scratching my head over SPEC. Tried SPOT, but didn’t make sense with OCTET. “Spec” is a shortened version of the word “specification”, no? Feels like a bit of a stretch to define it as a “small detail”, but I’ll take it.
