Honestly best constructor note ever. And I loved this puzzle.
Gosh so ma many complaints today but I thought this puzzle was great - clever fun and funny - keep it up Josh.
Loved this puzzle. Am I the only one who doesn’t mind looking up names? I like learning about new people I guess. And both of these were new to me - so thanks for the name look up! Anyway, also wondering if any other liturgy nerds thought the nuns habit was probably compline? Took a while to get that sorted. But overall so fun and not has hard as it looked.

@M not sure what kind of solver I am but it was very fun for me. I usually get stuck on the heavy trivia puzzles but this one went pretty smoothly for some reason?
@Andrzej my bona fide first thought on encountering that clue was “something about Dracula?” You know, like the Monster Home that Runs the Land… English is my native language but baseball evidently is not.

I loved this puzzle and learned quite a few new things which is always a goal of mine. Anyone else have LASPOSADAS instead of NOCHEBUENA? I messed that NW corner up for myself for quite a while….
@Heidi oh I’m so glad to hear you say that. I actually tried hard to squeeze in Ferdinand too. Which is kind of an anti-Ferd ‘tude now that I think of it.
@Vaer we’ve been talking about earworms today and “I love you a bushel and a peck” was mine. For some reason it’s so much harder to delete a song lyric once I’ve convinced myself that it’s the answer. Glad I wasn’t alone with this one!
