Well, there is no dedicated forum for Vertex. I have played every puzzle and will miss it. It is a pleasant, tactile diversion each morning-- and I believe that getting rid of it is a short-sighted mistake.

Technically, the prize in Economics is called "Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in memory of Alfred Nobel." The Nobel Prizes are funded by the Nobel estate and the Econ prize is funded by Sweden's central bank.
