@Barry Ancona. Yikes. I’m embarrassed. The clues were complete mysteries to me. Couldn’t finish without hitting “reveal” for most of the answers, not just the names. Never would have gotten the answers without help. Oh well.

For me a challenge, but ultimately solvable step by step, across here, down there, building slowly, just the way I like it! Really enjoyed this one. Thanks!
One of the most satisfying NYT puzzles I’ve done over the last few years. Challenging, had to build it brick by brick, but clues that made sense, fresh words but not arcane … thank you!
