I'm 43 and found this puzzle to be an absolute delight! The nostalgia was sparkly, the non-theme clues were fair, and I learned about ENTHALPY. I think it's exciting to see a new generation of constructors and solvers honing their crossword skills. We can't bemoan the illiteracy of younger generations and then complain when they are enthusiastically engaged with the very kind of game that encourages literacy. I've spent decades learning old trivia in order to solve puzzles, it's refreshing to see inclusion of younger niches and slang make their way into the games. We all get to expand our knowledge together.

A delightful puzzle! Smooth clues, clean fill. I've loved seeing the younger generation of constructors inject fresh vocab and slang into the puzzles. And this one is particularly special, one to remember. Hats off to you Kenneth! (On the HATSTAND of course...) 🌈🩷
