I finished the puzzle quickly but even after reading the explanation, don't understand the joke.

I was a little put off by spider sense instead of spidey sense. really?!?

ZARFS?!? that's all i have to say.

Thursdays are usually my favorites but I HATED this one. I finished it without understanding it. And once my husband got it and explained it I just thought it was kind of silly. The first letter of a word does not necessarily refer to that word. This one was a fail for me.

This was my fastest Saturday solve ever. I'm not sure how!

I got all of it except those BLOCKS and still didn't understand the theme til I read this explanation.

Also it was a PR for me for a Sunday.

Went super-fast for me. No idea why but it clicked.

My fastest Friday solve ever. Loved "cellular data plan." Also had never heard of POG or DARK ACADEMIA but the crossings helped.

Thinking it was spelled CROC really threw me off!

Loved this theme. Sophisticated for a Monday but do-able even if you couldn't figure the theme out.

I love "course catalog" but I wish ABECEDARIA had made it into the puzzle... I'm a school librarian!

Chugged along nicely, with some thought, until the bottom right. Took a break, came back and it clicked. Tough one. Took me longer than my Friday average.

Extremely hard for a Wednesday!

i needed to turn on autocheck for the very end and STILL didn't understand the details (i knew it was a mario brothers theme) until i read this column.

I had a lot of trouble with the middle and I'm still not quite sure (even after reading the column) that I get the theme. Or why it's esp. appropriate for a father-son duo (because one is big and one is small?). Hmmm.
