This puzzle made me feel insane. Usually when I get half this stumped I look up an answer and think "ohhh. crap i think i could have gotten there on my own." This time I look up the answers and they just enrage me. I don't know how it's possible to solve this. Tough = goon? what? Nicolas Roeg? I'm totally okay with some puzzles being out of my solving ability. I'm just commenting to say that this one was indeed far beyond me.

Spencer Leach if you check these comments - 'golden retriever who ends up with a chocolate lab?' might be my all time favorite clue. Until I had enough crossing letters I was thinking I missed a socially conscious addition to the Air Bud franchise.
