I was so amazed when I read your comments. I thought that you had to be at least in your twenties. You are an extremely talented young person! It’s great to see that you’re so accomplished! And you have the rest of your life to excel even more. Your family must be tremendously proud of you! Keep doing what you’re doing, I look forward to doing many more of your crosswords
I am super impressed with this puzzle it was a lot of fun and took a lot of thought but it was definitely worth it! I’m absolutely amazed at the quality of puzzle makers that are out there! Kudos to you all!!! P.S. I loved the mention of the “adenoidal”, you can’t say it without sounding that way. I absolutely laughed out loud! Great Sunday morning wake up! Thanks 🙏🏽
I thoroughly enjoyed this puzzle! Clues were exceptional! For some reason I thought the missing letters would spell something. 🤷🏻♀️ Keep up the great work. The first thing I do in the morning is the NYT crossword with coffee. You made my morning ritual truly enjoyable! Thanks so much
It never ceases to amaze me how young our new creators are. Happy birthday to Adrianne and you did a great job with this puzzle! Keep ’em coming! You’ve got years ahead of you to hone your craft. I’m gonna definitely keep my eye out for you. Congrats
@Jack I don’t understand why some people just look for other people’s mistakes. I looked it up and when you use the word “region” you are right, if you look for the closest star producing nebula it’s OrionNebula. I’m not sure what the difference is? By the way, you spelled nebula wrong, just saying
Very well done! I’m surprised this is your first to be accepted, you definitely have the talent. Rarely do I have to go to Wordplay to see what the entire solve was. But I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what the 3 “stumpers” were. Don’t stop constructing just because you’ve reached that goal of being accepted. Thank you for sharing a fabulous idea with us!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this puzzle. It’s an amazing feat to construct clues to math symbols. Kudos to you both for a fun puzzle!
I think that this was one of the best puzzles I’ve had the pleasure of solving. The clues were great! I loved the Jazz coda, I mean it took me awhile to figure out why the zees were correct! And there were quite a few that did the same thing, I’d figure out the answer using the crossing clues but then I had to figure out why the answer was right! Too cool! Congrats on a real enjoyable, thought provoking piece! I thoroughly enjoyed my morning coffee/crossword! Thanks 🙏🏽
The puzzle was very enjoyable but tough in some areas. I think it’s probably one of my favorites. I wasn’t aware that the constructor was from Australia until I read the editorial comments, but it makes sense with regard to some of his clues. I’m also impressed by his ability to make an “American“ style puzzle and have it accepted so quickly! Thank you Mr. Spooner for sharing your wit and wisdom with us!!!
@Grant very interesting! I had no idea either one of them were in that show. I’ve never “seen” Oona Chaplin, I only know of her bc of crosswords.
