What a fun and lively puzzle, Tarun! Can’t wait to solve your next one. Best of luck in your studies!
What a fun puzzle, and a sweet constructor’s note! Very excited for tomorrow’s, now! It’s a family affair.
I C what you did here, Mr. Callahan. Very clever (and impressively clued!) puzzle. There weren’t any clues that felt heinously forced, which is a real accomplishment given what you were going for. Bravo!
@Cat Lady Margaret Technically correct: the best kind of correct!
Cute puzzle and a fun theme! Happy Sunday, y’all.
This one was too easy… or maybe I was just WIRED? Either way, a Monday and overall PR (and a first-ever sub-3:00 solve).
A PR for me today (3:31), and just one second off from my Monday PR! Loved the theme of this one; super playful.
@Inchoate But Earnest My time was faster than Stephen’s, so I, for one, believe him. :)
@Patrick J. That wasn’t the case with a certain candy bar-themed puzzle last week, in which KITKAT was a valid rebus (but KIT was read in one direction, and KAT in the other).
@Stephen A very quick solve. You should be proud!
@Alex To be clear, I wasn’t aiming for it either! Sometimes the stars align. I solve on the NYTGames app on my phone. I start in the top left and hit all the Acrosses in order, then switch to Downs when I get to the end. I wish I had a cooler solving algorithm, but that’s pretty much it! Excited to see what your next Monday PR will be!
@Paul Lightning fast today! Great work. 3:03 was pretty close to my previous Monday best! Honestly thought I’d never cross under 3:00 as it felt like I was already typing on my phone as fast as I could without creating a bunch of errors.
@Andrzej Yes, yes, you are correct. Let me put it more precisely: even by Monday standards, this one was very easy.
@Jack Yeehaw! Nice work, partner.
