Looking forward to puzzles authored by you on pop and rap hits from the 2000s, the “Columbo” detective series and styles of pants. Make them Sun-Wed. I don't do Thu -Sat. Too hard.

Sometimes I feel that themeless clues are more for puzzle creaters with all the cute clues, than for solvers. Personally, I prefer puzzles with themes everyday,

I usually have hard time figuring rebuses out. But this one was a piece of cake. So nicely done.

Sundays don't deserve themeless puzzles. Themeless puzzles are a bore on any day. On Sundays, they are the worst. Breaking a record of number of clues doesn't work for me.

Please tell me the exact date of "Previous such puzzles include a 1996 crossword by Jeremiah Farrell that predicted either outcome of the U.S. presidential election." When I click on the link, it takes me to the whole archive, not the exact puzzle.

I know very little about Star Wars or Yoda. So, I really did not enjoy solving this puzzle. But I am glad that the puzzle constructor was aware of existence of people like me.

@Steve L I typically start working on a Monday puzzle as soon as it is out at 6 PM ET. But today was Superbowl. So I started on it after the post game. But yes, it was easier than most Monday puzzles.

Two comments. 1. Friday puzzles are too difficult for me. So I use the easy mode clues. But then the puzzle is often easier than a Monday puzzle. 2. Themeless puzzles, in general, are boring to solve.

Some of these states are not "swing states" like UT, HI, and AK. But I guess the word "swing" is punny here.
