Honestly - not a very enjoyable Sunday solve. Too intricate, too long, really a slog.

I really thought this puzzle was a hot mess... just overly complex and gimmicky. Would have been nice to have a pleasant straight forward Mother's day morning solve with my coffee in bed. Kind of ruined the morning.

I agree with some of the comments. This puzzle theme was easy, but the cluing was awkward, making it more like a Wednesday or Thursday puzzle. The mismatch made it a little annoying to solve.

This one solves more like a Tuesday, which was fine... just unexpected.
