Challenging, continually engaging and enjoyable. When I started, I thought I was never going to get anything. Then it slowly came together. Very enjoyable! Thank you!

ZARFS? Really?

More of a slog for me than most Sundays. SE corner bogged down a bit, as did the vicinity of PRAGENCIES.

Funny. It felt challenging while I did it, but my time was very fast. It just came together.

And, I should add, a very clever and fun puzzle! Congratulations on the debut. Great job!

Very well done! Top notch puzzle.

Either that was super easy, or I surfed the same wavelength as the constructor. I think the former . . . .

The best Saturday puzzle in recent memory. Excellent, challenging, clever cluing. Lots of word play. Absolutely loved it!

Very nicely done! Thank you for a top notch puzzle!

Congratulations on an auspicious debut! Enjoy your time at Harvey Mudd.

Really great puzzle. I struggled quite a bit in several places, but came out alive in the end, enjoyed it immensely. Thank you!

Nice chewy puzzle with some excellent, novel, clueing. Among the best Friday puzzles in the past year.

Whew. That was a challenging and chewy puzzle! Glad I managed to get it completed. Northwest corner almost got me. Then I got PST, realized that 1D must be HTTPS, and it finally fell into place. Very good puzzle!

I absolutely loved this. A real puzzle, rather than just completing a crossword. Amazing job!

Extremely chewy Friday puzzle. Took a long time to solve it, but I have no real complaints about it. A tough, well-constructed Friday puzzle. One of the most challenging in a long time. Thank you!

I really enjoyed this puzzle, however I solved it without ever understanding the italicized clues. Oh well. So it goes!

Straightforward and fun. Which is a good thing for me today, as I needed the feeling of accomplishment after a long, challenging, day.

Fantastic puzzle! Tricky, clever, engaging cluing. Nice and chewy and very enjoyable. One of the top puzzles of the past year.

Northwest stymied me at first. JAZZFEST was the key that unlocked the southeast. Had PANIC before HAVOC. Tough for me at first, but finally got it. Nice puzzle.

Washington also has a (state) disambiguator in Wikipedia.

I had dPLUS and dRAFTBEER, both of which scanned fine. Took me a while to find them! Fun puzzle. I would admit that I've not ever seen Parks and Recreation, so the actor was unknown to me. I'll have a look at it, as it seems well like by this crowd.

Nice puzzle. Solved it without any insight into the twist.

Fun, fast, and clever.

A fun puzzle, but much, much easier than yesterday's! It took me about 1/3 the time.

That was crazy easy for me. Maybe the right wavelength? Or was it just easy for a Thursday?

Solved a rather straightforward puzzle with those curious three rows that I finally figured out what the trick was only after the entire puzzle was solved. A bit interesting, but not all that memorable. But, excellent for a debut!

Too easy for a Saturday, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Very enjoyable puzzle. Nice cluing. Some distractions. Some easy areas. 8 greatly enjoyed it.

Fine but faster than I was hoping for. But a high quality puzzle!

For whatever reason, even when I finished the puzzle with PIX in 19A, I could not parse ADEXEC until I read Wordplay. Weird when the brain does that. Nice chewy, tasty, puzzle.

Very nice and fresh feeling puzzle for a Wednesday. Clever clues and great mix of fill. Excellent work!

Got the puzzle pretty quickly, and got enough of the clues for the key to get EXIT. But it was not solved. Fixed sIDE to WIDE in 103D. I was wondering what sARTY meant when I got it, but forgot to go back and check.

Far too easy for a Friday. I expect much chewier. Looking forward to Saturday puzzle. 🤞

Breezed right through today. We used to play the floor is lava all the time. Not sure about the clue for HALL, but I did get it. Took me a moment to grok A TO B.

Very enjoyable. Nice work!

Figured out the trick early on, which made it pretty easy. Had some trouble in the south west due to my starting with hadATAN, but sussed it out pretty quickly.

Tough for me. But got it in the end. I probably should not have done it when I was exhausted.

Fun puzzle. I got it but did so without understanding the "trick". Also, I finished the puzzle and all of the squares are filled correctly, but it is still marked as not being correct. Any ideas? I checked it with the PDF several times. I'll give it another check, but if anyone else has had this problem let me know.

Fun puzzle, but pretty straightforward. I thought it would be harder, but it just opened up for me. I enjoyed it, but would not group it with some of the great crunchy puzzles I have enjoyed over the years.

Great chewy puzzle. Thanks!
