@Asher B. I agree with you. Even after finishing the puzzle it didn’t make sense. What’s with the capital letters? Etc? This puzzle’s gag was a failure IMHO.

@Sam Corbin Recently updated to the newest version of Games app on an iPad. Crossword puzzle keeps crashing every few minutes for no apparent reason. At least it remembers my last entry. Has been happening for close to a week. Before and after the update.
