I still find Thursday puzzles very difficult because of the trickery, but thought I had this one when I figured out the theme. I was sure it was a Rebus, until it wasn't! I then removed the extra letters and solved it but do not understand why it would not be a Rebus.

@Patrick I never heard of that term either. The A was the last letter that finished the puzzle.
