Am I the only one who thinks that “orang” is just not an informal way to refer to an orangutan?

The theme is great -- enjoyed figuring it out. A Tuesday puzzle shouldn't contain words that many or most readers won't have ever heard of -- "lades" and "gelid"?

Some fun clues, I think definitely more of a Wednesday level of difficulty. A couple of the clues were pretty useless trivia that no-one with any self respect should know -- '74 Olds Tornado? That's the reason I don't play Trivial Pursuit anymore.
