I loved this one! Very easy for me as a retired public librarian.
I loved this one. I’m not ashamed to admit I did a little googling. Very enjoyable.
@Mick I did find it easy today, but I’m thrilled! And yes, I’m assuming it’s because I’m getting better at it. Fun one.
Oh, the humanity! Sometimes I absolutely cringe when I realize there are rebuses, but I figured since it was Wednesday, how bad could it be? And I was right, fun and pretty easy. Enough to encourage me to enthusiastically dig into one on a later day of the week. Just not this one, okay? 😉
I still remember the first time I saw the solution for 65-down—written on the wall of a stall in the ladies room at the UW-Wisconsin student union, probably in the fall of 1976, when I started there. Definitely an eye opener for me at the time. :-)
I finished the whole thing—quite quickly!—without really knowing what was going on. I’m not complaining at all. It probably would have taken me longer if I’d stopped to think about it. 🙃 Maybe I need to slow down and smell the roses..or clues.
I don’t know ASL, but found the puzzle easy enough with the cross words to figure out. I thought it was great fun, and a clever idea!
I’m late to the discussion, because I almost always wait to do the regular crossword until after lunch, usually while sipping a cup of tea, which I am today. I do the mini early in the morning, to tune up my brain, with a cup of coffee. Very fun and fast puzzle today. I think the only clue that really tripped me up was Steve from Only Murders in the Building, which was easily remedied.
