When I opened it: Ughhh what is this?! When I started filling it in: Oh this is so clever!! I loved this puzzle! What a creative, unique idea. And I laughed out loud at UCLA 😆 Can't believe I've never heard that joke before

Very fun theme but this was far, far more difficult than a normal Wednesday for me. Pretty sure I used hints/cheats for a full third of the puzzle.

This was a tough one for me, but so fun! Really enjoyed it

Fun one, I enjoyed the theme a lot! And Mars with bars was brilliant, well done ;)

Will come back for the crossword but just want to say that Strands was charming today. Puzzle nerds are my people :)

'OWERS' is a repulsive word, blegh. Fun puzzle besides that! Took a long time to figure out the logic of the theme.

This was incredibly fun! I really loved the theme, very enjoyable puzzle to solve.

I didn't love this one but credit where credit is due for a unique theme!

I love working on a puzzle and just knowing that the comments here are going to be spicy. ;) I thought the theme was cute but some of the puzzle word choices were cringeworthy. TEMPI, APER, SPRIER made me grimace. Got it done though! Thanks for puzzling! Onward to Wednesday!

This was clever and creative, thank you! Fun start to the day

Enjoyed the puzzle, tough but fun! I hope I never see or hear the word SLEEKEN ever again. *shudder*

I loved this puzzle! Lots of very clever clues and answers. I especially loved IQS, TREERINGS, DAMS. Very enjoyable journey this morning, thank you!

6:29 PB for me. Nice way to start the week! Onward, my fellow word nerds.

Quite difficult for a Wednesday in my opinion, but what an excellent puzzle! Enjoyed it :)

This is a puzzle, certainly.

Just want to note that my heart sang when COLLOQUIALISM fix and then my heart sank when I had to change it to MIXEDMETAPHOR

This was entirely too difficult for me but I LOVED the theme, what a smart fun idea! I'll never solve puzzles like this on my own but I want dozens more of them, haha!

Always a good sign when literally the first clue uses a term I've never heard before. I've learned what a 'cellphone lot' is now and feel reassured that no one in any of my group chats knew the phrase either 😅 An Education, as always.

Oof. This was a rough one. Bit of a missed opportunity for a much better Valentine's Day theme. Ah well! Onward!

I love love loved this puzzle and the theme! What a fun idea.

This was tough for a Tuesday but I LOVED the puns! Loved them so much I sent the bit to people over text after I finished. Well done!

Haven't used this many hints on a Wednesday in a long time! Definitely some tough clues. I didn't really get the theme until I was nearly done but I like it now that I see it, haha. Onward.

Took me a bit longer than a usual Tuesday but I loved this one! Fun theme. Must have started at 6D for a full minute before I finally figured it out and laughed out loud.

As an avowed hater of Thursday puzzles... I loved this!!! Had a lot of fun with it.

Fun puzzle!

This one wasn't a winner for me. Seeing a lot of quasi-dismissive comments not understanding folks who found it hard so I'll say this: I usually get through the first round of Monday with about 50-75% filled in, and this time I had maybe 20% and wasn't confident about many of them. Also made lots of guesses rather than answered confidently, all the way to the end. Glad some people liked it but it was definitely difficult for a Monday.
