@Chris If the day "latens", then I guess it's growing later. It felt like a bit of a stretch, common-usage-wise, but that's how it makes sense to me. An olla is an earthenware pot used for cooking.

I love a rebus! It makes my brain happy. So thanks for that! I do take issue with "grayish" being the clue for "ashy" though. It should be "ashen", which means grayish, at least when speaking about skin colors. "Ashy", as far as I know, means more about dryness of skin than color.

@JLin True! O- can give to anyone but can only receive O- (I feel like it would be easy to attribute some sort of moral superiority there if one were into anthropomorphizing blood types...), and O+ can only give to other Rh+ types. (Type AB+ is the universal recipient!)
