@Kevin For some reason, I usually (almost always) have more trouble on the Saturday puzzles than the Sundays. I was disappointed in the Mixed Company thing. I thought it'd require more cleverness than simply solving an anagram.
@Adam Smith No, you are not the only one. I've been having just that problem. It still has a gold star saying I've completed today's, but when I actually click on it it is blank and the timer starts running. I've also been having this problem working the old archived puzzles.
@Lynn I still don't get it. I put Hah for the across clue Very Funny and thus had whist for the Watch this! clue. That didn't make any sense, but I was confident in how I filled in the rest of the puzzle. Then I though of Har for the across clue and the music played, but I am not understanding what Wrist has to do with the clue. I guess I'll just have to wait until it comes to me.
@CarolinaJessamine I, on the whole, have more trouble with the Saturday puzzles than the Sunday ones.
The part that works out, I'm General Audience-fying it here to hopefully not have my comment deleted, of arriveredrearend bothered me a bit also. Some of the stuff in the crossword, indeed this particular one, has adult themed stuff even rather twisted adult stuff at times. Kids do crosswords, I wish those who write and edit these would keep it in mind. I wish that was kept in mind in general in life, some of the kids cartoons on PBS even have stuff more adult in nature.
@Fred Some of these I never do figure out, but this one I did. It is satisfying if one does stick with it and not look up the answers. The one time I did look up the answer I was disappointed in myself as I probably would've gotten it in time if I stuck with it so I haven't looked up the answers since. The one where the symbol for phi was the key I found to be a fun one once I caught onto it.
Capitall really threw me for a loop. It turns out that is an obsolete spelling for capital.
